This is a gorgeous club that is very poorly managed. My friend joined Life Time because the salesperson told him his guest passes could be used however he liked, including bringing the same guest more than once (they only give each member a limited amount). I was that guest. On my third visit, the front desk announced a rule nobody had mentioned during the sales pitch: the same guest can come only once every 60 days. When my friend pointed out this was never communicated to him and in fact the opposite was, the front-desk staffer (Connor) and one of the personal trainers told us they "don't get paid enough to care." At this price point, someone should!! They said I could finish that day's workout...which was kind, until the manager (Josh) tracked me down mid-set to re-explain the policy. Multiple times, and increasingly heated. When I finally asked Josh what he exactly wanted from me, or if he wanted to investigate even a little what policy was communicated to the member, and if he cared at all about our experience, he snapped asked me to leave. I left happily, as I know I deserve to be treated better. I'm used to Equinox, which is at the same price point, and I've never once b

I can't recommend Roy Torres at Life Time in Evanston highly enough! From day one, Roy designed a personalized fitness program that was both flexible and engaging, continually adapting it to keep me challenged while making sure it fit my goals and abilities. One of the things I appreciated most was his incorporation of the Pilates reformer into my workouts, which helped improve my strength, flexibility, and overall fitness. Roy is incredibly patient and takes the time to thoroughly explain how to use each piece of equipment safely and effectively. He pays close attention to proper form and technique, making corrections in a positive, encouraging way that helped me build confidence and avoid injury. The results speak for themselves. By sticking with the program Roy designed, I've lost 15–20 pounds over the past 16 months and gone from a size 14 to a size 10. I feel stronger, healthier, and more confident than I have in years. Beyond his expertise, Roy is simply a genuinely friendly and approachable person who makes every session enjoyable. Even though I've completed my personal training sessions, he's always available on the fitness floor to answer a quick question or help me cor

I came to the gym with a girl who previously bought a one-day pass a couple of weeks ago. This time, I didn’t even use my guest pass — I sent her a new one-day guest pass. Because of your system glitch, it didn’t show up like it normally does. I tried to explain this to the front desk (Sheila, I think), and the response I got was basically “can’t do anything.” That’s not acceptable. This is clearly an issue on your side, not mine — so it’s your responsibility to fix it. Also, where is the manager? It seems like they’re never on-site and not even answering the phone. If your front desk staff can’t resolve basic issues like this, then the manager needs to be present and available to step in and handle it. This level of service is honestly disgusting.

As a fitness professional, for decades with top tier, extremely discerning clients. LIFETIME Evanston truly stands out, it’s my favorite place to be, and here is Why…. Under the leadership of General Manager Rachel Vogeney, the club has an exceptional culture. Rachel’s classes, and her brilliant staff’s classes—lift you up physically, and mentally!! They are intelligently programmed, and delivered with the kind of presence and expertise that is extremely rare even in top-tier clubs. What impresses me most is the staff she has built around her!!! From the front desk to the juice bar, the Moira manager, and instructors. EVERYONE! is genuinely warm, attentive, and professional. You can immediately feel that the team cares about the members and about maintaining a high standard. It’s not easy to create a fitness environment that feels both elevated and welcoming, but Life Time Evanston does it beautifully. The club has a sense of community, professionalism, and joy that makes it a pleasure to be part of.

I’ve been meaning to write this review for a while now. Joined as soon as they opened, and after just over a month, I feel like I’ve got a solid sense of the place. This gym is excellent for the location. I’ve been to the ones in Skokie and Northbrook, both bigger with more amenities, but I’m not comparing apples to apples here. This spot works for me and my wife. It has everything we need to stay in top shape. The recovery options are top-notch. Hydro massage chairs, Normatec pressure boots, Hypervolts, all included in the membership, and they make a real difference if you take your recovery seriously. The cryo chamber and red light therapy are extra, but if you're into that next-level recovery and optimizing performance, it's well worth the price. The classes are fun too. I’ve taken a few Alpha Strength classes, and they’re a solid mix of challenging and interesting. It's definitely worth checking out if you’re into more structured training. Now, I’ve seen some complaints about the price, and here’s the deal: you’re paying for a different level of experience. This isn’t a cheap gym, but it’s not meant to be. If you want to get your ass kicked in a basic gym with basic equipme
